DWF recognised for Innovation at British Legal Awards

National business law firm DWF won the ‘Law Firm Innovation’ and ‘Best Use of Technology’ awards at last night’s British Legal Awards. Hosted by legal magazine Legal Week, the awards recognise the firms that have displayed excellence and innovation within the sector and highlight the wider contribution that law firms and legal departments have made to the community and economy.

BLA14 WIN LFIAThe Law Firm Innovation Award recognised DWF’s bespoke Crisis Response service, which provides clients across a broad range of industry sectors with comprehensive support to help protect their business and reputation during a crisis. DWF is the only UK law firm to offer this type of integrated service, encompassing legal advice, business continuity planning, reputation management and psychological support.

DWF fought off stiff competition from Berwin Leighton Paisner, Eversheds, Linklaters and Pinsent Masons. The judging panel comprised City of London Law Society chairman Alasdair Douglas, general counsel and senior members of the law community.
